Hi, I'M GOLAN
I never planned to become a teacher. I studied chemistry and math at university, and figured I’d spend my adult life transforming molecules. That changed when I joined a university program helping high schoolers prepare for their final exams. Turns out, I really liked teaching.
I watched teens enter the program anxious about math and leave with a sense of success. And contentment, and confidence, and sharpness. At a later point, when they shared how meaningful their journey had been, I I couldn’t have asked for a better job!
For nearly two decades, I have taught math (and sometimes chemistry) across educational institutions and a range of levels, and I always loved it.
Because of this, I started Yeda in order to give that same experience to more teens than I could reach on my own. Each Yeda educator brings their own strengths and talents, and I’m proud to see that each gets the same satisfaction from seeing our students flourish and grow!
And if studying has been making you (or your teen) miserable, or you’ve been feeling like you’re just not good enough — I promise, every one of us at Yeda has been there at some point too. And it doesn’t have to stay that way. Reach out. You might be surprised how fast learning can start feeling different.
"I’ll try to briefly describe a phenomenal person named Golan because he’s so much more than a teacher, and even more than an educator.
He’s a teacher raised to the power of teacher factorial!
Yeda managed to instill in our daughter self-belief, learning skills - not just in math - and a rare kind of motivation and connection.
She actually looks forward to her lessons with him!
The results speak for themselves: this year, she completed her matriculation in advanced Math with a score of 97%.
I recommend him to everyone I know - and every student he works with seems to make an almost inexplicable leap in their learning.
There’s only one explanation: Golan."

We have known Golan and Yeda, the institute he founded, for over seven years. During this time, we have seen Golan’s remarkable ability to work with students of all levels.
He meets each learner exactly where they are helping the strongest students reach new heights of excellence while also supporting those who find math more challenging to unlock their potential.
His teaching goes far beyond technical knowledge: he brings curiosity, vitality, and positivity into every lesson, making the learning process not only effective but also enjoyable.
What truly sets Golan and Yeda apart is their gift for transforming the way students relate to mathematics. For many, math can feel intimidating or discouraging, but Golan knows how to connect to each learner’s strengths and build confidence step by step. This approach nurtures a positive self-image and a deep sense of capability, which naturally extends to other areas of learning and even to life in general.
The impact of Golan and Yeda is not just academic it is deeply empowering and inspiring.
